in logo design
The primary objective of the logo was to create a visual symbol that clearly communicates FJELL Entreprenør AS’s specialization in mountain home construction and strengthens the company’s identity within the professional architecture and construction sector.
The logo composition is based on the integration of the two letters, “F” and “E,” into a unified geometric form. The structure of the letters is designed so that the direction of the lines and angles recreates the silhouette of a mountain peak and the form of a pitched roof—key symbols of the company’s field of work and architectural focus. This approach allows the logo to function simultaneously as both a typographic and an architectural mark.
The logo’s visual language reflects the materials and structural logic used by the company. Precise lines and a clear, defined form convey reliability, structural accuracy, and longevity—core values in the construction of mountain homes.
The client's main activity is video content filming and editing. He wanted to see the open door symbol in the logo.
As the main element of the logo, we chose an element illustrating the client's activities - a "rainbow" used in the filming process. We incorporated the open door motif requested by the customer. We supplemented the combination of symbols with light coming through the door, symbolizing creative projects of the future, the realization of customer visions.
When creating the logo, we used a retro "dry needle" style, as requested by the client, but at the same time we included modern symbolic elements, colors prevailing in design trends. This gave the logo modernity, uniqueness and sophistication.
The logo color system
The logo color system was developed in response to the company’s field of activity. The primary orange color, selected by the client, gives the identity distinctiveness and visual energy. Supporting black and wood-inspired grey tones create direct associations with structural materials and natural elements used in the company’s projects. Together, these colors ensure visual consistency and flexibility across different communication applications.
The logo can be used in both single-color and two-color versions, maintaining its clarity and recognizability across different scales and applications.
